once a 5* has fallen to 1*

When I first started playing this word game, I loved it. I would go to it while waiting in line or when on hold. It was my quick go to distraction. Not now. Primarily because of the forced ads. Sometimes they even overlap! In this version the ads come up between almost every round. They arent for relevant or like items either. I.e. If a person likes playing word games, why would they be tempted to go do a "clash" or "sim" game? The enjoyment comes from the quick distraction not the hours spent on a pretend land. So as far as the ads go. Wrong audience wrong ads. Way too many. You cant get through them and sometimes I have to shut the app just to get to the next level because when 2 ads open on top of each other the app freezes up.
The other thing is the words. What dictionary are the developers using? "lisle" was a word but "non" is not. Can you please use word that are from this century? The app asks the user to unscramble and find certain words. They are by far not the only words that could be found using the letters given. It would be a better experience if the user was asked to find a specific number of 3,4,5&6 letter words (6 three letter words), not necessarily the only 6 possible, but the first 6 the user unscrambles. Another option is to have all the possible words there, but when the user finds 6 the option to move on is given or to stay to get "bonus" points.
Could there be a scoring system for getting it done quickly or in order or longest word first? Not the timed games like in "word whomp".
While I have waited years for this app to grow and change, it seems that it has only sold my time to ads and not in improving the experience. The colors have stayed the same. I would like an option to make the font larger because I have played this game since I didnt need glasses.
Still havent decided if Ill go to another app. If I could go back in time and tell myself to not update this app I would. It was better before the junk ads that lock your phone came along. These ads are pretty aggressive and it is telling of the developers. They just want to make money not entertain the user and btw, the pro version is NOT better. Dont waste your dollars on that.
